Great park with 3 full courts and a dope setup for smaller games

This family-friendly park is the perfect place for an afternoon walk, playground fun, or a group event. Very beautiful scenery.

It is a very nice park, very close to the high school. There are tennis courts, basketball courts, with a lot of hoops, little playground, little community get together area, soccer field, baseball field.

The surface is coming off the tennis courts making them unplayable and a fall risk. The hitting wall is fine, but moving more than one step to hit the ball is dangerous. 2022: The courts were resurfaced. The only detractor is the plant litter from the trees that are close to the court.

The layout of the playground area is unique, itβs a rectangular strip along the edge of the park along Florence Ave, but I think you would be able to see kids in different areas at the same time if you place yourself strategically :) There are a few play structures geared toward taller, climbing children and a smaller play area geared toward shorter people. There are many park benches spread throughout the area and lots of picnic tables. There's a tire swing, two regular swings and two bucket swings. There are bike racks by the basketball area According to the cityβs website: "the only location in Evanston that has a lighted basketball court is Mason Park!" Basketball: 3 Full Courts and 1 Half Court Tennis: 2 Courts Baseball/Softball and Soccer/Football: 1 field each Bathroom: Yes! Parking is on the street and can be tough to find because of driveways.
